While striding along his daily path, without deviating, without borrowing time, between trips and travels, lunches and evening parties, Pascal Morabito, equipped with a digital camera, takes pictures of shoes and grounds: vision and spontaneity of a four-year-old child enjoying the freedom of an elder!

He realized his art project between July 13th, 2002 and July 14th , 2003. Based on communication, his way of operating induces encounters and dialogues with people – famous or not – such as actors, artists, politicians, athletes, students, tourists, workers, or simple pedestrians…
Consented or stolen pictures aiming at capturing in context, without compromising, the natural positions of feet. With the 75,000 snapshots that he took within a year's time, the duration necessary to prepare for the exhibition and the book entitled, “MY STEPS IN YOUR STEPS,” Pascal Morabito created a fresco representation of an era that unveils trends of fashion and human behaviours, as would a sociological study. In his works, Pascal Morabito expresses himself most often through a wide variety of forms that range from a 32-metre-high monumental sculpture to cube-jewels, the free diamonds now worn by a million women, or to the invention of a muzzler plate affixed on thousands of champagne bottles that are convertible to jewelry pieces, thus extending a moment of festivity into everlasting pleasure.
