NAGADA, That particular period of civilization covers the major part of the 4th millenium BC and bears the name of a site in upper egypt : NAGADA where vases in stone and terracota of an unusual pure plastic were found. The vases have a great technological advance and the minute detail of the finished products make some of them real work of art. In this way, flasks, alabaster vases, schists, basalt or granite, pots and make up palettes are smoothed and polished with an absolute mastery. Men living in those predynastic days (1500 years before the pyramid of keops, 6000 years to this day) have bestowed upon us these fabulous flasks, which have contained oinments and fragrances... Disappeared for ever... Seeking the raw material of my creation in the multiple archeological forms which i have collected for the last thirty years, ihave wanted to bring back to life the ecstasy of the contents in creating NAGADA.
