Pascal Morabito comes from a family of goldsmiths of Italian origin: his name has been handed down from father to son since 1871. He was born on 3 May 1945 in Nice.
After completing his studies in architecture, he created on 3 May 1968, in the family workshop, the first centre for artistic jewellery, named le centre de création et détude du bijou contemporain ou micro-architecture.
He designed unique pieces of haute joaillerie for private and international clients, including the gold compressions which became the César du cinéma trophy. Among his many friends are artists like César, Arman, Dali, for whom he has designed micro-sculptures, which were instantly successful.
